Champ is displaying the "flehmen" response. This looks like a horse is laughing but a horse really does this when it detects an odor worthy of more attention. Horses, goats, and cats can be seen performing the same response with a wrinkled top lip and open mouth.

Bliss, J-Lo Lynette and Debby Sue are such dolls. The smallest one on the right, Debby Sue, is the oldest turning 2 yrs. old in May. The center one, J-Lo Lynette, turned 2 yrs. old in June, & Bliss, the pinto on the left is a year old.
Little Miss Debby Sue (in her foal coat) is a farm favorite.
